-the Birth place of Shripad Shri Vallabha
Hello friends –
sharing some spiritual expirences with you all.
Recently I have visited the PITHAPURAM TEMPLE with family members including the my mother who is of 87 years old also accompaning with bros and sis together to make our tour possible and cheerful .
PITHAPURAM is the birth place of SHRIPAD SHRiVALLBHA who is believed to be a incarnation of SHRI DATTYREYA, in Kaliyug . Its a pilgrimage place and many devotees visit this place frequently .Demographically its situated in Andhra Pradesh @ East Godavari District . As its Costal Area KAKINADA beach is the nearest one from the temple.
It’s a very pleasant morning when we entered the temple @ 5 o clock .The AUDUMBARA tree in front of temple ,
I make Pradakshina around audumbara then entred in the into the main temple . There is a curtain on the door of the main temple , we hear the chanting of Pujari inside,must be doing puja . Feeling very spiritual in the mind,
I sit on the floor and chanted some mantras and shlokas followed with meditation thereafter .Feeling so blissful.
Theres not a too much rush in the morning ,the peaceful and sacrade atmosphere ,everyone sitting there gets the holy touch of the Shripad Shri Vallabha .
At about six o clock PUJARI unveiled the mandir for aarati and I have seen the ,beautiful and holy idols of the Shri Dattatreya ,SHRI Shripad Vallabha and NRUSIMHA SARASWATI in garbhagruha .
The lovely n fresh garlands on the idols feels to be very sacred .The garlands of tulsi n aboli n jui chameli ,the tricolor make it very pleasant . It’s a lovely practice there, women has wear gajara ,feels and looks fresh .
Unknowingly I joined my hands for Namaskara ,I greeted , I bowed down before the SHRIPAD SHRIVALLBHA to get blessed with Ashirvad . Feeling very religious ,spiritual I sing a very famous Bhajan Brahma Vishnu ani Maheswar and done seva as to my capability .
Thus this morning is so pleasant for me , holy breeze from the surrounding blooming my mind , I feel so lucky and blessed for myself for being here .
Various offering and pujas ,were offered by the devotees ,such as Palaki, Goseva , homa,havan .etc. We stayed here for two nights offering different sevas .
At first day WE go for Palaki seva of the SHRIPAD Shrivallabha chanting Digambara Digambara Shripad Vallbha Digambara and many more bhajanas and shklokas and aarati.On the second day we have offered Abhiskek seva and havan .
The Temple offerd PRASADA to all devotees in morning and evening . there are different DHARAMSHALS where you can stay at the low cost . The temple itself having the arrangements of its own Dharmashaala at free of cost but you have to book it in advance ie before two months .
Pithapurum priveously known as Peethikapuram which is derived from ,known from DEVI POORUHITIKA.it is one of the Shaktipeeth of the Devi .
There is one more temple , a KUKUTHESWARA mandir and Gayasoor mandir . In the surrounding premises of the KUkuteswara mandir there is holy temple of Shri Dattatreya . The beautiful idol was carved in the stone .It is believed that this idol had made a dialouge and discussion with BOPPANACHARYA ,who was father of SHRIPAD SHRIVALLBHA ,and a very at par devotee of SHRI DATTATREYA . Its also called as SWAYAMBHU DATTA .We joined hands for namaskara and seek the blessing of Shri Dattatreya .
ANAGHADATTA LAXMI TEMPLEOne other Temple was there that is ANAGHADATTA LAXMI temple . it’s also a very peaceful and sacred place . Dattatreya in this temple found to be in incarnation in GRUHASHTASHRAMA . Shri Dattatreya found here with the Ma Laxmi ji . Agha means Papi or who has done sins and Anagha means the who saves from being done sins .
It is beleilved that Shri Dattatreya here give blessing to devotees and all sins get nullified with the blessing of AnaghaDatta and Laxmiji . The gopuram here are very beautiful and very big and huge area of the temple will surely give you a the peace of mind .
We met here Learned Mr. Prasad and Mr Prakash ,who being a retired judge of HighCourt and now being devotees spending most their time in devotional n religious n spiritual work . Both of them very learned and happy n cheerful personalities . As my mother too a Sanskrit scholar both of them had a very good tuning with us .
I have feel the fragnace of the soul by offering pujas ,darshans,aarati, Prasadam . I am very habitual in daily pujas at home, yet ,also some unknown power ,automatically going to pushed me in doing all these pujas and sevas .
I m doing all these but behind all these happening some super natural power exists through which all the happening are getting done .
The existence of God always in question but those who believed in God only had to join the hands and bows down to THE GOD wholeheartedly seeking the Blessing from almighty.
I feel ,Iexperience ,I heeled,,I blessed with the Ashirvad of SRHIPAD SHARIVALLBHA . . Digambara Digambara Shripad Vallbha Digambara.
